Charlie has more than 20 years of experience in the family-founded business and the foresight to know what an intensive organics operation needs to look like now and in 10 years’ time.

Charlie joined SOILCO in 2001 and is a second-generation SOILCO family member. In his current role as Managing Director, Charlie is focused on innovation, strategy, infrastructure development and business growth. His leadership ensures that SOILCO’s core values of Courage, Authenticity, Achievement and Respect are more than just words on a page.

Charlie seeks constant business improvement to enhance SOILCO’s service offering and product outputs. This drive led SOILCO to start a new engineering and construction division to deliver critical organics recycling infrastructure and to enable local councils and commercial businesses to achieve their sustainability goals.

Utilising his Science degree in Environmental Biology, Charlie has worked with a range of environmental, landscaping and horticultural businesses during his career. He is also a Board Member of the Australian Organics Recycling Association (AORA).
