Biochar

Biochar and bio-carbons are manufactured from organic residues by pyrolysis in a low oxygen environment. They are a stable source of carbon that can be sequestered in soils and reduce greenhouse emissions.

Biochar is being applied in horticultural, agricultural and Industrial applications. Benefits to horticulture and agriculture include greater productivity, through improved soil health and structure, enhancements to microbiology and reductions in nutrient loss.
