SALES TRAINEE

SOILCO is a manufacturer of soil, compost, and mulch products and we are currently looking for an energetic, driven and eager individual who is motivated to learn and participate in a Sales Trainee Program. This is a full time position and will be based at our Kembla Grange head office.

In order to be successful within our organisation and best represent SOILCO to our customers; you must be willing to adopt our cultural pillars of Teamwork and Achievement. In turn SOILCO will provide you the tools to develop leads, drive sales and generate new business opportunities, all whilst educating you on the benefits of composting and improving soils, so an interest in landscaping or horticulture would be a plus.

Duties will include performing preventative maintenance, servicing and responding to breakdowns.

 

To be the one, you:
· Will have a willingness to learn Customer Service Techniques
· Are a people person
· Self-start; can be kept busy in an empty room
· Have a good phone manner
· Have a clear and concise written and verbal communication style
· Microsoft Office experience
· A valid driver’s license

This is an entry level position, however, any previous experience in either sales, customer service or horticulture would be highly regarded. SOILCO will help you grow and develop your potential within a growing progressive and eco-friendly organisation.

Remuneration will be based on experience.

HEAVY VEHICLE / PLANT MECHANIC

 

SOILCO are currently looking for a Heavy Vehicle / Plant Mechanic.

 

SOILCO manufactures and distributes a range of soil, compost and mulch products. We are seeking a Heavy Vehicle/Plant Mechanic to work on our modern fleet of trucks, trailers and earthmoving equipment.

 

Duties will include performing preventative maintenance, servicing and responding to breakdowns.

  • Relevant trade qualifications and experience
  • Ability to diagnose faults in equipment
  • Commitment to safe work practices and environmental management
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • HC License desirable
  • This is a permanent full time position that pays above award wages. The position is
  • located at our Nowra workshop. Some afternoon shifts & weekend hours will be required.

HEAVY VEHICLE DRIVER

 

SOILCO are seeking an experienced heavy vehicle driver for an immediate full time start.

 

SOILCO operate a modern fleet of Volvo, Mack and Western Star vehicles that are based from either our Kembla Grange or Nowra premises.

 

To be considered please provide evidence of:

  • Heavy vehicle (HC) truck licence
  • Current RMS driving statement
  • Proven experience in a transport role
  • An understanding of safe work practices
  • Knowledge of transport specific legislation such as Mass, Fatigue and CoR
