PLANTER MIXESSoilco manufactures a range of potting mix products for home use and professional growers. A process control system is employed that regulates the manufacturing of products to ensure that best management practices are adopted, and that potting mixes comply with AS3743 (regular). When considering mixes for pots and planters it must be remembered that these products perform differently to garden mixes. Soil mixes tend not to be suitable due to risk of compaction in the smaller growing area. Potting and Planter box mixes need to be open with a balance between water holding capacity and air filled porosity.
